Su Style Meat Moon Cake

It’s the mid autumn festival time, a lot Asian still keep the tradition of eating the moon cake. This Su style meat moon cake is very popular among “WU” language speakers. Although it looks like our previous dish “Siew Bao:P the method and taste is different.

Su Style Meat Moon Cake Recipe

The skin:

2 cups of all purpose flour

1/3 cup of corn oil

3/4 cup of water

Meat Stuff:

300 g extra lean pork

1/2 t slat

1 T corn starch

1 T soy sauce

1 T sesame oil

1/8 t white pepper powder

1 T water

2 stalk of green onion

1 t  smashed ginger

Note: 1 cup = 240ml, 1 T = 15ml, 1 t = 5ml

The aboved measurement is good to make 20 moon cakes.
